Downtown Middletown, Inc.
1050 Central Ave, Floor 2
Middletown, OH  45044 Map

Prepare yourself for the best reason EVER to explore two very different downtowns at the first annual Donuts & Drafts! This two day, two community event (March 31st in Middletown & April 1st in Hamilton) features donuts from the nationally acclaimed Butler County Donut Trail paired with craft beers from our local Butler County breweries.

Explore hidden places and secret spaces of some of Downtown Hamilton & Middletown’s most unique historic buildings through this self-guided tasting tour. The event will have you travel into attics, basements, tunnels, hidden dance halls and more! When you reach your secret destination, you will be treated royally with a draft beer and a donut from Butler County. We call that a WIN!

HOW IT WORKS: Check-In will begin at 5 p.m. on March 31st at The Windamere Event Center, located at 2 S. Main Street in downtown Middletown and at 5 p.m. on April 1st at Artspace Hamilton, located at 222 High Street in downtown Hamilton. It is at registration that you will trade your ticket in for your beer tasting glass and passport for the evening. You will then follow your passport to the Donut & Draft spots, which will be located inside various buildings throughout downtown Middletown & downtown Hamilton. There is a bit of walking involved and locations include a few areas that are only accessible by stairs, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. The hours of Donuts & Drafts will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. both nights, you may check-in at the registration locations anytime during the event.

DETAILS: The exact donut, drafts, and locations remain a surprise until check-in! So, what we can tell you? Drafts Presented By: DogBerry, FigLeaf, Rivertown, Quarter Barrel & Municipal Brew Works. Donuts Presented By: Central Pastry, Jupiter Coffee & Donuts, Kelly’s Bakery, Martin’s Donuts, Milton’s Donuts, Mimi’s Donuts & Bakery, Oxford Doughnut Shoppe, Ross Bakery, Stan the Donut Man, and The Donut Spot.

TICKETS: To ensure the event remains high-quality and fun for everyone, there are a limited amount of tickets available Donuts & Drafts. Tickets are $25, and includes access to both nights in downtown Hamilton & Middletown. You will get 5 craft beer tastings and 5 donut tastings each night, as well as a souvenir tasting glass!

Note: you must be 21+ to register & have a valid ID at check in.

This event is the result of a collaboration between Downtown Middletown Inc., Downtown Hamilton, the Hamilton Visitors Bureau, and the Butler County Visitors Bureau.
