(Single Malt and Single Hop)
For our 2014 Brewmaster’s Reserve releases we are challenging our Brewers and consumers pallets by releasing a series of beers that use only one single hop variety and one malt variety, referred to in the brewing community as a SMASH beer. Each beer will feature a one of a kind or limited variety of hop and barley malt used in off the wall ways to create a one of kind experience! First up, Introducing:
Tom’s Smashing Blonde Ale
Smash Series #1- Smash stands for Single Malt and Single Hop. This American Blonde Ale features domestic floor malted pilsner malt for a smooth grain flavor. A new American hop, Belma, provides a mellow, fruity hop character. A touch of dry hopping allows the unique hop character to shine, alongside the subtle grain quality of the malt!
